2 shot, 1 killed in Seminole shooting; suspect in custody
GBI is investigating Monday night's Donalsonville double shooting

DONALSONVILLE, GA – Two people were shot, one fatally and the alleged triggerman is in custody facing murder charges following a domestic incident last night in Seminole County.
The GBI says it got the call for assistance from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department around 8:15 last night in connection to an aggravated assault and death investigation at an Old Jakin Rd. address.
It was there Seminole County deputies learned of a female who had been shot in the head, but was able to escape and seek help. The GBI says her vehicle she was driving had been shot multiple times. She was later airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment for her wounds. A male was later found shot and deceased at the scene. A Wednesday autopsy is scheduled at the GBI Crime Lab.
A short time later, Seminole County deputies arrested 29 year old Floyd James Harris of Attapulgus on counts of aggravated assault and murder. Harris is being held in the Seminole County Jail as GBI Agents and Seminole County Investigators are continuing to locate and interview witnesses. The case is active and ongoing.
