Trio charged in Camilla Pizza Hut shooting
All three suspects from Mitchell County are accused of gang activity; aggravated assault
CAMILLA, GA – GBI agents charge a trio of Camilla residents in last week’s shooting of a man outside a local restaurant.
All three face charges in connection to the shooting as well as taking part in illegal gang activity.
Arrested and charged are 18 year old Joseph Hikeem Gaines, who faces aggravated assault, possessing a firearm during the commission of a crime, as well as two counts of participation in a criminal street gang.
20 year old Marcus Malike Collier and 19 year old Amaray McDowell both face two counts of participation in a criminal street gang as well as party to the crime of aggravated assault.
The GBI credits the help of both Camilla Police and the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office with the arrests.
