Tifton Celebrates Georgia Cities Week

TIFTON, Ga. – The City of Tifton is celebrating Georgia Cities Week from April 20th through the 25th, and they’re doing it in a big way.

All this week, residents can securely shred documents and junk mail, either at city hall or the Leroy Rogers Senior Center.

On Wednesday from 4 to 6 P.M., kids can enjoy rock painting and learn all about Earth Day at the Keep Tift Beautiful Community Garden.

There will be a job fair at the Tift County Recreation Department gym on Thursday.

And Friday evening, line dancing takes to the streets! – Boot Scootin’ Downtown, with free live music at The Yard on Commerce. Residents are encouraged to come out, grab a bite, and meet friends old and new.
