The Boston Tea Party Invades Moultrie Tuesday Evening
MOULTRIE, Ga. – Locals have the opportunity to immerse themselves in history and learn about events leading up to the American Revolution while enjoying a spot of tea and light refreshments. Moultrie-Colquitt County America 250 is inviting the public to a riveting presentation at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library.
Special guest Mary Lou Goehring, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, will present a very interesting program about the Boston Tea Party and its impact on the American Revolution. Mary Lou is a member of the Jacob Braselton Chapter NSDAR in Braselton, GA. She is a docent for the NSDAR Museum in Washington DC and a member of the Georgia Society DAR Speakers Bureau.
No RSVP is required, and everyone is welcome to take part in this exploration of our nation’s history. The America 250 Tea takes place Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. The Moultrie-Colquitt County Library is located at 204 5th Street Southeast in Moultrie.
