South Georgia Pet of the Week: Cove

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Say hello to Cove! Cove showed up at the shelter as a 6-month-old puppy. Now he’a a full-grown goofball!

At 11 months old and 40 pounds of pit-lab charm, Cove has been patiently waiting for his furrever home, and honestly, the shelter staff can’t figure out why. Cove is great with kids, obsessed with playtime, and knows some manners. He’ll sit pretty for a treat every time. Cove has the energy of a puppy and the demeanor of a dog who just wants to be someone’s best friend.

Cove is ready to trade shelter life for backyard zoomies, belly rubs and eating treats on the couch watching some football.
