Shooting victim airlifted off I-75
Southbound interstate traffic at mile marker 91 has resumed after officer involved shooting
ARABI, GA – Southbound traffic on Interstate 75 has resumed after a reported officer involved shooting Sunday afternoon around 5pm, just south of the Arabi exit.
Officers allowed motorists to proceed after one of the shooting victims was taken to an awaiting medical flight chopper and airlifted off the interstate a little after 5:45pm.
Georgia State Patrol rerouted southbound traffic from the Arabi exit to U.S. 41 as deputies and first responders worked the scene.
Crime tape surrounded one light blue jeep that was parked on the shoulder of the roadway.
