Pebble Hill Plantation Reopens Saturday
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – After a month dedicated to important maintenance and preservation projects, Pebble Hill Plantation is excited to welcome visitors back with a special reopening celebration Saturday, August 29th in the Stable Courtyard.
Admission is FREE, and everyone is welcome to attend. From 10:00 a.m. until noon, visitors can enjoy wagon rides, the horses, raffles, ice cream from BlueBell, children’s activities, and complimentary admission to our special exhibition, “Pebble Hill Plantation: A 200-Year Legacy” in the Elisabeth Ireland Poe Gallery.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the stable to say hello to two of Pebble Hill’s favorite residents, Their friendly mule, Tim, and gentle Percheron horse, King. They will both be looking for visitors and are always happy to make new friends.
Beginning September 1st, regular Main House tours will resume, and visitors will be welcomed back to experience the beauty, history, and hospitality of Pebble Hill Plantation.
