Livestock and Companion Animal Shelters Available Statewide

GEORGIA – The Georgia Department of Agriculture announced that several shelters are being made available statewide for those fleeing wildfires with their animals. From their Facebook page – “Several of our partners are offering pets, equine, and livestock shelter to those impacted by the wildfires. If you need a safe place for your animals, help is available. Please call ahead to confirm space before traveling. Stay safe, and thank you to the partners who’ve offered their help.”
