OFFICIALS GIVE UPDATE ON IOWA POST OFFICE SHOOTING

A press conference is scheduled for 11aET where law enforcement officials will give an update on the investigation into a shooting at a Des Moines post office yesterday. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Des Moines resident Jennifer Christine Pledger, has been charged with attempted murder after police say she shot two of her coworkers. A third Postal Service employee who was hurt while trying to flee the shooting and the other two injured employees are expected to survive, according to Des Moines police Sgt. Paul Parizek.
