Coronavirus infections have “increased exponentially” among children across the US in the last week, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. In Georgia, the state’s epidemiologist says about 60% of all Covid outbreaks reported are in k-12 schools. While only those 12 and older are eligible for a Covid-19 vaccine, that could soon change.
