Flood Warning through late Wednesday night
ALBANY, Ga. — A flood warning for the Flint River issued by the Tallahassee, Florida, division of the US National Weather Service has been continued until late Wednesday, March 11. At 8:45 a.m. Saturday the stage was 33.4 feet; flood stage is 26.0 feet. Moderate flooding is reported to be occurring and is forecast to continue. Though the flood stage is expected to continue to fall, residents should continue to monitor the situation. Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas. Remember: turn around, don’t drown!
