Flint Riverkeepers update water status
ALBANY, Ga. – The Flint Riverkeepers will hold meetings in Bainbridge and Albany later this month to discuss the river’s status.
These meetings also include evaluations of Albany’s sewer and storm water systems.
“I would hope now that the spills have backed off and that a lot of people, including Riverkeepers and the city are working hand in hand,” executive director of the Flint Riverkeepers Gordon Rogers said. “I would hope that people would take just as much interest in learning about the progress and what comes next.”
The meetings are scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Cloud Livestock Facility in Bainbridge and on Sept. 24 at the Episcopal Church of Saint John and Saint Mark in Albany.
