Everything’s Coming Up Roses in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Everything’s coming up roses in Thomasville as the city prepares for its 105th Annual Rose Show and Festival. This fragrant tradition has been a crowd favorite for over a century, and the city expects to keep that legacy blooming during its bicentennial year.

Held in historic Downtown Thomasville, the Rose Show has been a Southwest Georgia tradition since 1922. Over the years, flower shows, entertainment, an artisan market, an antique car show, a parade, and more have been added to create a true community celebration.

The weekend will feature live entertainment, a car and truck show, a giant street party, and much much more!

The Thomasville History Center will present Thomasville and Tiaras, a curated display of previous Rose Queens’ crowns and gowns through the years as well.

That’s all Friday and Saturday, April 24th and 25th. For more information about the Thomasville Rose Show and Festival, call 229-227-4136 or visit thomasville.org/events/rose-festival.
