Dooly County head football coach leaves program abruptly

AS OF WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH, ASHLEY HARDEN IS OFFICIALLY OUT AS HEAD COACH OF DOOLY COUNTY FOOTBALL. AS OF RIGHT NOW, THE REASON IS STILL UNCLEAR. HARDEN WAS BROUGHT IN AS THE NEW HEAD COACH DURING THE OFFSEASON, AND HIS STINT WITH DOOLY DID NOT LAST LONG. IN HIS ONE GAME WITH THE TEAM, DOOLY LOST 37-7 TO WORTH COUNTY LAST FRIDAY. SOUTH GEORGIA TV REACHED OUT TO DOOLY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL OFFICIALS FOR COMMENT, BUT THEY DECLINED. QUINNEN PEAVY WILL SERVE AS THE INTERIM HEAD FOOTBALL COACH FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. PEAVY HAS A HISTORY WITH DOOLY COUNTY, COACHING NUMEROUS SPORTS OVER THE YEARS.
