CASAerton Tea Party To Benefit Foster Children Saturday

ALBANY, Ga. –  The moment has arrived to make it official. Dougherty County CASA is delighted to announce the CASAerton Tea Party, a charming Bridgerton-inspired afternoon in support of children in foster care. Join them Saturday, May 16, for tea, delightful company, engaging activities, and most inspiring messages from featured guest speakers Dawn Charleston-Green, M.Ed. of Georgia CASA and Cassandra D. Jordan of Albany State University.

Whether one attends as a guest, claims the title of Diamond of the Season through sponsorship, or joins as a valued vendor, their presence helps advocate for children who need a voice.

“Dougherty County CASA is dedicated to advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect by providing specially trained community volunteers to serve as a voice for children in foster care,”  said Zoye Clark, Advocacy Director at Dougherty County CASA. Through advocacy, mentorship, and support, CASA works to promote safety, stability, and permanent family connections for vulnerable children in the community. Dougherty CASA has advocated for children in Dougherty County since 2001.

“Our upcoming Casaerton Tea Party Fundraiser will support Dougherty CASA’s mission by helping fund volunteer training, child advocacy services, and essential resources that directly impact children in foster care throughout Dougherty County,” said Ms. Clark. “Every ticket, sponsorship, and donation helps ensure more children have a dedicated advocate standing beside them during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.”

The CASAerton Tea Party takes place at the Thronateeska Heritage Center, 100 West Roosevelt Avenue in Albany. Tickets can be purchased at: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/casaerton-tea-party.
