CASA Glow Run and Walk for Child Abuse Prevention Awareness
NASHVILLE, Ga. – Get ready for the 4th Annual CASA Glow Fun Run and Walk to raise awareness for child abuse prevention this Friday evening. April is child abuse prevention month, and the run and walk takes place in the heart of Nashville, where CASA is based.
CASA stands for court appointed special advocates, and the group represents over 200 foster children in the Alapaha Judicial Circuit. CASA believes that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and protected, and this event is one way the community rallies around the group and the kids each year.
The event starts at 7 P.M. and the race starts at 8. There’s an early registration fee of $25, and that goes up to $30 on the day of.
