APD release suspect’s name in Monday homicide
(ALBANY, Ga)- The Albany Police Department has released the name of the suspect involved in the death of a homeless woman earlier in the week.
In a news release late Friday afternoon, police announced that 37 year old, Xavier Keely has been charged with Felony Murder.
Keely is the suspected seen in pictures from a West Oglethorpe Boulevard bus station Monday night, when 61 year old Teresa Cole was found dead.
Keely, who is also homeless was already in the Dougherty County Jail on Disorderly Conduct and Open Container charges, with the murder charges being added on top.
Albany Police Chief, Michael Persley will be hoeing a News Conference on Monday, November 11th to issue official statements on the investigation.
