Albany Technical College Hosts Fun Run and Walk Fundraiser

ALBANY, Ga. – Mark your calendar and set your alarm clock. Albany Technical College (ATC) is opening up its new walking trail to the public this Saturday, May 16. ATC turns 65 this year, and it is celebrating in style with a 5-K Family Fun Run and Walk fundraiser. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 5-K Family Fun Run and Walk begins at 8:00.

The registration fee is only $19.61 in honor and recognition of the school’s inaugural year, and ATC is encouraging everyone to come out and get some exercise for a good cause. All funds raised will go toward scholarships and programs to make sure deserving students have the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams.
