Albany Police Department investigating double homicide

ALBANY, Ga. – According to a post to Facebook, Albany Police Department investigators with the Robbery/Homicide Unit continue to conduct interviews in the Aztec Lane double homicide that happened before 3:00 a.m. this morning.

Malik Parks and Jakendric Chapman, both 18, were found deceased in the driveway from gunshot wounds.
UPDATE** Acoording to a Facebook post by the Albany Police Department, two people have been arrested and charged less than 24-hours after two 18-year-olds were found deceased in the driveway of an Aztec Lane home.

Messiah Alexander,18, has been charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bernice Carter, 33, has been charged with tampering with evidence.

This morning, around 3:29 a.m., Malik Parks and Jakendric Chapman, both 18, were found deceased in the driveway from gunshot wounds. This case remains an ongoing investigation.
