Albany couple arrested for Aggravated Animal Cruelty

(ALBANY, Ga)- Two people are facing charges tonight after deputies say they found dismembered cats in their apartment.

The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a neighbor on Westover Boulevard last week about 9 cats left in an apartment.

When they got there, they say they found several of the cats had been killed and dismembered.

20 year old Destiny Winters and her husband, 24 year-old, Michael Winters, have each been charged with 1 count of Aggravated Cruelty to Animal and 2 counts of Cruelty to Animal.
