A mother desperate to find son’s killer asks community for help
ALBANY, Ga. – “I’m asking… I’m begging… please help me.”
A devastated mother spoke out asking anyone with information on her son’s death to come forward.
“I’m not just asking, I’m begging please, if you know anything about my son’s death, any little thing you think can help please call the Albany Police Department,” says Cynthia Walker, the mother to recently deceased Jaime Macous.
30-year-old Macous chased down suspects involved in a car break-in and it resulted in his death.
“I know for sure, when he fell on that ground, that he was calling for me.”
Investigators with the Albany Police Department have not made any arrests and Walker is hoping someone will provide some insight.
“If you knew him, you would love him because he was just that person.”
Walker says her son was a loved community figure and father. Adored by his four children.
“They keep asking, and looking at the obituary wondering why they can’t call their father no more.”
Anyone with any information in regards to Macous’ death, can anonymously give investigators information by calling 436 – TIPS.
