Tip leads agents to drugs and cash

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit (AADU) Agents responded to 711 Dorsett Avenue after receiving an anonymous tip. The tip advised that the resident at this address was selling illegal narcotics day and night. While watching the residence, the agents noticed several people coming and going from Apt#B. The lead agent made contact with the resident, who was identified as B/M Rodriquez Anderson (47 years of age). After opening the door, the agents smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the residence and observed Cocaine in plain view.
Anderson was taken into custody and began a protective sweep of the house.
After clearing the residence, the lead agent obtained a search warrant.
They recovered several trash bags of cash (various denominations) throughout the residence along with the following items:

41.7 Grams of Cocaine

3.6 Grams of Marijuana

2 Firearms

Digital scale

4 large bags of cash ($37,043.64)
Anderson was charged with:
