Albany’s night court preps
City of Albany's Municipal Court to hold first Night Court session
ALBANY, GA – The City of Albany’s Municipal Court and Community Court partner, Albany Technical College (ATC), will pilot a night court session at ATC on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 6 p.m.
ATC’s Dean of Academic Affairs Kenneth Singleton was pleased to open the doors of the college for the night court test.
“Being physically located in a section of our community that would benefit from the Court’s Albany Works! program, we were delighted to offer the use of our Moot Court classroom for the planned night court session,” said Dean Singleton.
In partnership with the Albany Works! program, this night court test session aims to meet the community where we are needed most and provide connections to social and educational resources that support individual pathways to self-sufficiency.
