HIGHLIGHTS: Albany State defeats Miles College 20-3

ALBANY, GA – Albany State football’s defense continues to shut down Miles College’s offense as it held the Golden Bears to six points in their last three meetings.

It was a defensive battle from both sides at the beginning of the game before ASU jumped out to an early 7-o lead thanks to a pick-6 from Jaree Turner, followed by a touchdown run from Marcuis Fulks a few possessions later.

The Golden Rams only came away with a touchdown in the third quarter, but would be enough as they’d shut out the Bears and come away with the 20-3 win.

Up next for ASU is a road trip against Edward Waters on 10/8.
