Multiple shootings on Sunday in Cordele
CORDELE, Ga. – Three shooting occurred Sunday and the Cordele Police Department is asking the community to help identify anyone that may be involved.
Cordele Police Department officials say there was one shooting early Sunday morning in the roadway of 9th Ave and 2nd street right next to the old Boys & Girls clubs building. One individual was shot and is injured but the injury is not expected to be life threatening. A white passenger car was seen leaving the area.
There was also another incident early that same day around the same area at a residence where individuals were physically assaulted and injured. Their injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
That same night, around 10:30 p.m., Cordele Police Department officials say there was a shooting in the area of Joe Wright Drive between 22nd and 23rd Ave. Two individuals, a male and female, were injured as a result.
