Shooting injures four, including a 16-year-old who was fatally wounded

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at Turner Field Road and Meadow Drive at 1:14 a.m. on Wednesday.

The investigation is assigned to the Robbery/Homicide and Gang Unit.

APD officials say four injured people were injured during the shooting including a 16-year-old who was fatally wounded.

This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be provided as South Georgia TV receives updates.

 

UPDATE:

APD responded to the Turner Filed and Meadow Drive for a report of a shooting. On scene, officers located a white Honda Accord struck multiple times by gunfire.

Jaylin Stanford was found inside the vehicle deceased from a gunshot wound. The other injured victims were all transported from the location to the hospital for medical treatment. Harris was the only person that was in the car and not injured. 
 
The Albany Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide and Gang Unit are investigating the case and are currently conducting interviews.

Emanuel Hill, age 20 (Gunshot Injury)
Shakeriah Harper, age 21 (Gunshot Injury)
Lovell Mango, age 18 (Gunshot Injury)
Willie Harris, age 18 (Not Injured)
