APD’s search for birthday party shooter

Officers identify suspect as 38 year old Isaac Edward Hicks

ALBANY, GA – A Saturday night birthday celebration in Albany ended with bullets as one man was shot and police search for the suspected triggerman.

Albany Police say they responded to a reported shooting in the 400 block of Drexel Street early Sunday morning.

The purported victim, identified as Bobby Colbert, says he got into an altercation with the suspect, identified as 38 year old Isaac Edward Hicks, at a birthday party.

Colbert says during the argument, Hicks threatened to kill him prior to pulling a gun and shooting Colbert in the arm.

Police say Hicks is wanted on a single charge of aggravated assault as well as a probation violation.
