76 year old man awakens to find two men who allegedly stole victim's pants, wallet & money
ALBANY, GA – Albany Police say they’re investigating an early Monday morning robbery by force.
Investigators say 76 year old Willie Wade of Albany was in bed just before 1am when he claims two men, dressed in black, kicked down the door of his apartment and began stealing items from his residence.
Wade says one of the suspects held him as the other rifled through his apartment.
Wade said the suspects took his pants and jacket which contained his driver’s license, bank card, $250 in cash, and keys to his apartment and vehicle.
Officers say there were no weapons used during the time of the incident.
The incident remains under investigation with no known suspects at this time.
