Charges add for teen sought in Albany
Stone Mountain's Jakobe Andrews now wanted for weekend fire incident

ALBANY, GA – Albany Police reiterate a plea for the public’s help in finding a 19 year old suspect, as criminal charges for him continue to add.
Late last month, authorities wanted Ja’Kobe Shad Andrews for allegedly making terroristic threats and acts.
Saturday, police say Andrews made good on an alleged threat to burn a woman’s vehicle, as officers responded to a call in the 200 block of Carroll Street to find a 2010 Hyundai Elantra on fire.
Nakecia McDowell says Andrews has also threatened to kill her mother and set fire to her grandmothers house.
Police say Andrews has an active warrant out of DeKalb County for auto theft.
Albany Police confirm they’ve recovered the stolen truck at a Sycamore Court address and Ja’Kobe Andrews was listed as the suspect.
This incident remains under investigation.
