Crisp child molestation arrest

28 year old Shamari Bunkley faces a trio of felony counts

CORDELE, GA – The Cordele Police Department says a 28 year old man has been arrested and charged for a trio of child sex crimes.

Tuesday morning, Crisp County deputies arrested Shamari Bunkley at his residence on three felony counts of child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and computer pornography.

Investigators say the case began roughly a month ago after the juvenile’s parent found alleged lewd messages between the suspect and purported victim.

Police remind parents to be observant of their child’s social media interactions and accounts.
