GBI: Man dead, woman wanted in Hahira
32 year old woman sought in Saturday murder at hotel

HAHIRA, GA – Authorities have a murder warrant for a 32 year old woman after the discovery of a deceased man at a Lowndes County hotel.
GBI agents say Hahira Police requested their assistance with the murder of a male at the Hahira Inn on Highway 122 off of I-75 Saturday night.
Hahira Police and Lowndes County Deputies responded to a 911 call of “shots fired” in a guest room a little after 9pm.
Upon their arrival, officers found a deceased male victim.
GBI Agents and Crime Scene Specialists arrived to begin the investigation and process the scene.
The male will be sent for an autopsy to the GBI Crime Lab. His name is being withheld at this time pending notification of additional next of kin.
Through interviews with witnesses, and evidence obtained from the scene, Agents and Hahira Police applied for and received arrest warrants for a female named Davisha Latrice Johnson, 32 years of age.
The warrants allege that Johnson committed Felony Murder, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Johnson was known to the victim, and lived at an Emily Lane address in Hahira. Johnson is currently wanted on the outstanding warrants. Johnson is known to frequent the Valdosta area and possibly locations in Quitman, Georgia.
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and Valdosta Police assisted the GBI and Hahira Police with this investigation.
