Cordele teen survives shooting

15 year old hit twice but recovering, no suspects publicly identified

CORDELE, GA – A 15 year old Crisp County gunshot victim is recovering while Cordele Police investigate what happened and why.

Police say they got a call a little after 10pm Tuesday night to 17th Avenue, behind the Bentley Carson Funeral Home, to find the teenager suffering gunshots to his back and arm.

The teen was reportedly sitting in a car when he was shot.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, no word on his current condition.

Police say they’re uncertain that it is gang-related, but believe multiple suspects may be involved.
