Multiple meth distribution arrest

FITZGERALD, GA – According to a Facebook posting, the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit served several search warrants throughout the county.

Several individuals were arrested during the investigation and charged with sale, possession, possession with intent to sell, firearms possession and more. Agents expect to make additional arrests as a result of further investigations.

The Ben Hill Sheriff’s Office stated their thanks to the Fitzgerald Police Department and the Department of Community Supervision for their assistance.

Citizens are reminded that reports of drug and narcotic activities will remain confidential; anyone witnessing or having knowledge of such illegal activities is encouraged to make a report.
