Stars Align for Galaxy Glow Tuesday at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
ATLANTA, Ga. – Yesterday was Galaxy Glow Tuesday at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s hospitals, one of many fun-filled, space-themed days part of this year’s Homecoming Week. Teen patients at Arthur M. Blank Hospital and Scottish Rite Hospital kicked back in The Zone at each hospital, which were decked out in neon decor and black lights.
Patients were able to decorate sunglasses, paint canvasses with glow in the dark paint, enjoy some refreshments and most importantly spend time with other kids their age.
Children’s serves patients from birth until 21 years old and says it is important to make patients of all ages feel recognized and supported, especially teens who may be missing the fun of homecoming week at school, while they are in the hospital.
