CLEANUP UNDERWAY AFTER NOR’EASTER BATTERS NOR’EAST

A strong, early-season nor’easter delivered a weekend of powerful wind, soaking rain and massive waves to the Northeast. Rain showers, which could be heavy at times, will continue off and on Monday, but conditions are expected to improve as the storm weakens. Tens of thousands of customers across the Northeast were without power as of Sunday, and the storm continues to disrupt air travel. One person was killed and four people, including children, were injured yesterday by trees knocked over by the wind. Correspondent Karin Caifa has the latest in a 3:30pET PKG from Washington.
