NCNW Community-Wide Family Reunion in Valdosta Saturday

VALDOSTA, Ga. – For more than a decade, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), Valdosta-Lowndes Metro Section has proudly created spaces where families connect, communities unite, and resources reach those who need them most. NCNW is excited to invite the public to its 13th Annual Community-Wide Family Reunion – a beloved South Georgia tradition inspired by the vision of Dr. Dorothy I. Height and the National Black Family Reunion movement.

This is more than an event. It is a celebration of family, service, culture, and community. Join NCNW for a day filled with:

• Free food distribution (while supplies last)

• Live music and entertainment

• Kids Zone and bounce houses

• Community Bingo

• Giveaways and prizes

• Community resources

• Opportunities to connect with local organizations and neighbors

The NCNW 13th Annual Community-Wide Family Reunion takes place Saturday, September 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Unity Park Amphitheater, 301 East Central Avenue in Valdosta. Admission is FREE and open to the entire community.
