Early Childhood Development Program Offered in Moultrie Friday

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Experts say that ninety percent of a child’s brain development occurs by the age of 5, and the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library System has a great way to help give youngsters in the area a head start. The program is called Preschool STARS, and it is an enriching story-time experience for children ages 3 to 5 years old and their parents and caregivers.

Each session includes the children learning a letter of the day; sharing books and songs related to a theme; and a craft or activity for the kids to enjoy. All that is followed by optional playtime so the children can socialize and share what they’ve learned.
