Texas nun detained and released by ICE speaks out

Sister Leticia “Letty” Ugboaja read a statement to reporters speaking out for the first time following her detention and release by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers as she was walking to Our Lady of Sorrows Church in McAllen, Texas in June. Her attorney says Sister Letty has an appointment with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials scheduled for July 28. CNN has reached out to DHS and ICE officials for comment.
