Juneteenth Paddle at Reed Bingham State Park Saturday

ADEL, Ga – Get ready for Juneteenth with boats! Join WWALS for an afternoon paddle at Reed Bingham State Park this Saturday.

It’s a great way to celebrate history and spend a beautiful day out with the kids! Boats will be provided for new paddlers, and stunt adults will paddle with children whose parents don’t want to get in a boat.

Everyone will meet at the Beach Pavilion on the Little River in celebration of Juneteenth, and the paddle will take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Food and activities for children will be provided by host Fannie Gibbs and the Macedonia Community Foundation.

The outing is free, but the park charges a $5 fee for parking.

Put In: Reed Bingham State Park Beach, 542 Reed Bingham Road in Adel. Take I-75 Exit 39, turn west on GA 37, right on Evergreen Church Road (CR 99), left on Reed Bingham SP Road (CR 221), in through the gate and across the dam, and the beach is on your right, in Colquitt County.
