Watermelon Festival 5K and Fun Run in Cordele June 13th
CORDELE, Ga. – It’s time to grab a juicy slice of life as the 77th Annual Watermelon Days Festival takes off in Cordele. The public is invited to take part in a refreshing summer tradition Saturday June 13th, in the heart of the city!
The Watermelon Festival Road Race and Fun Run, proudly sponsored by Destiny Fitness, is back and better than ever! Whether a seasoned runner or a person just looking for some family-friendly fun, this event offers something for everyone with a timed 5k road race and a laid-back 1-mile fun run.
Celebrate health, community, and juicy Georgia watermelons in the watermelon capital of the world! Awards will be given to top finishers in each age group for the 5K. Walkers, strollers, and runners of all levels are welcome!
