GBI Seeking Information in the Death of Tomesha “Mesha” Bartee

QUITMAN, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Thomasville Field Office and the Quitman Police Department are asking for the public’s help with information pertaining to the death of Tamesha “Mesha” Bartee. On Monday, March 9th, 2026, Tamesha Bartee was found deceased inside her vehicle in the parking area of 1017 North Jefferson Street in Quitman, Brooks County, Georgia.
