The Peach Queen Takes Her Throne This Weekend

MORVEN, Ga. – It’s mid-May, and that means everything is peachy in Brooks County. Peach tarts, peach ice cream, peach cobbler, and peach lemonade! Can it get any peachier than that? Did we mention the Peach Queen?

The City of Morven invites everyone to be a part of the celebration when the 39th Annual Morven Peach Festival takes place this Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. It will be a day full of food, fun, and community at Ernest Lawson Park, 8269 Valdosta Highway in Morven.

There will be vendors, live entertainment, a kid’s corner, and Dj Chill Will will be churning out the tunes. Then at 2:00 p.m., the Peach Queen takes her throne and the world-famous Morven Peach Festival Parade rolls through town.
