McDonald’s Makes a Splash With Specialty Drinks for the Summer

GEORGIA – A drink for every vibe is on its way to a McDonald’s near you starting May 6. Actually, there are six new specialty drinks on deck. According to a recent company press release, “They’re designed to be the bold and delicious boost customers are looking for, any time of day. This is more than just a new menu item; we are aiming to be a top choice for your beverage cravings.”

The new flavors are: Strawberry Watermelon Refresher, Mango Pineapple Refresher, Blackberry Passion Fruit Refresher, Sprite ® Berry Blast, Orange Dream and Dirty Dr. Pepper®.

The drinks are just as fun to look at as they are to drink. With vibrant, layered colors and unique flavor combinations, these beverages are crafted to be a fun experience. To ensure quality and consistency, McDonald’s created a new Beverage Specialist role in their restaurants. “We’re investing in our restaurant crews to deliver a perfect drink every time.”

McDonald’s is so confident customers will love these new drinks, they are inviting the public to stop by their local restaurant for sampling days on May 8, 15, and 21. Those days, customers can get a free sample and try the new flavors out before committing to their favorite new beverage.
