ARC Blood Drive in Americus This Friday
AMERICUS, Ga. – The American Red Cross is holding its annual spring blood drive, and they will stop off in Americus this Friday, April 17. Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, assisted by Phoebe Sumter Auxiliary, is partnering with Americus First Baptist Church to support this effort. Donors can stop by between 8:15 A.M. and 6 P.M., and give the gift that keeps on giving – the gift of hope. Donors will receive a gift in return as well – a $15 gift card they can use at the merchant of their choice. It’s a win-win for donors and the community.
The Red Cross wants to remind everyone that donating blood is a critical life-saving act that supports surgeries, cancer treatments, and trauma care. 1 donation can save up to 3 lives. The American Red Cross reminds you to give hope this spring. Give blood.
Americus First Baptist Church is located at 221 South Lee Street, Americus, GA 31709. For more information, visit redcrossblood.org.
