IMPBA Atlanta Spring Nationals to Make Waves in Sycamore

SYCAMORE, Ga.The International Model Power Boat Association (IMPBA) will be making waves in Sycamore this weekend. Over 150 boats are scheduled to race in this year’s IMPBA Spring Nationals. This sanctioned remote control boating event boasts over 20 classes ranging from electric to nitromethane. Some boats top speeds of 80 miles per hour.

The event will take place at Kem’s Pig Pond at 1966 Robert Davis Road in Sycamore, and is free to the general public Racing starts at 8 A.M. on both Saturday and Sunday. Organizers suggest spectators bring their lawn chairs to enjoy a beautiful weekend of racing.
