Leesburg Horse Camp Gallops into Action

LEESBURG, Ga. – Summer is just around the corner, and that means it’s about time for youngsters to start horsing around.

From Memorial Day through the end of July, horse camp gallops back into action at Stonehaven Stables in Leesburg. Campers five and up can ride every day and will learn the basics of equine care. There will also be fun games and crafts activities throughout the course of each one-week session.

No experience is necessary and protective headgear will be provided. A weekly membership is only $100, and participants will need to bring their own sack lunch each day.

Stonehaven Stables is about a mile outside of Albany at 2816 Palmyra Road in Leesburg. Limited spots are available, so interested parents should contact Carol Rathel at 229-789-2277, to give their child an experience they will never forget.
