Money Matters Business Summit to help Albany entrepreneurs plan for financial success
ALBANY, Ga. – Local business owners will have an opportunity to sharpen their financial skills at an upcoming summit focused on building stronger, more sustainable businesses.
The Money Matters Business Summit, hosted by the UGA Small Business Development Center in Albany, is set for Tuesday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at The Event Center at Northwest Library, located at 2507 Dawson Road.
The summit will feature expert speakers addressing key financial topics facing small businesses today, including grant funding opportunities, retirement planning, and the use of artificial intelligence to analyze business finances.
Among the featured presenters is Jeretha H. Tabor, who will discuss building financial resilience and generational wealth. Daniel McCoy will break down the realities of grant funding for small businesses, while Thomas Credle will share strategies on using AI tools to better understand and track financial performance.
Organizers say attendees will learn how to plan for retirement as a business owner, evaluate grant opportunities, track key financial indicators, and develop strategies for long-term growth and exit planning.
The cost to attend is $79, and registration is required in advance.
