Tifton Farmers Market to kick off Spring season April 4

TIFTON, Ga. – A popular community market in Tifton is gearing up to launch its spring season this weekend with a morning full of local vendors, fresh goods, and family-friendly activities.

The Tifton Farmers Market will host its spring grand opening on Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at 211 Main Street South in downtown Tifton.

Organizers say the opening day will feature a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, meats, handmade crafts, and other locally sourced products. Live music and activities for families will also be part of the event, creating a welcoming atmosphere for the community.

As part of the morning’s programming, a children’s “Sprouts Story Time” session is scheduled for 10 a.m., along with additional kid-friendly activities and vendor offerings throughout the event.

The farmers market operates with a mission to support local farmers and artisans while increasing access to fresh, sustainable food. In addition to its weekly market, organizers host events throughout the year, including cooking demonstrations, farm tours, and community dinners.
