Radium Springs Community Cleanup set for March 27-29

ALBANY, Ga. – Residents in the Radium Springs area are invited to take part in a neighborhood cleanup effort this weekend.

The Radium Springs Association, in partnership with Dougherty County Commissioner Victor Edwards and Dougherty County Solid Waste, is hosting a Neighborhood Spring Clean from Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29.

A dumpster will be available throughout the weekend at The Circle, located across from Radium Springs Park, to help residents dispose of bulk items.

Organizers say accepted items include furniture, lawn equipment, lumber, and similar materials. Household garbage, such as food and paper waste, will not be accepted.

Residents are encouraged to place items as far back in the dumpster as possible to allow space for others.

Officials say the event is aimed at bringing neighbors together while improving the appearance of the community.

For more information, residents can contact Commissioner Victor Edwards at 229-603-0050 or Mr. Harvey at 229-809-6577.
