SOWEGA Rising to host Education Town Hall and Easter Egg Hunt in Albany April 2
ALBANY, Ga. – A local organization is bringing families together this week for an event that blends fun with meaningful conversation about education.
SOWEGA Rising is hosting an Education-Focused Town Hall and Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Albany.
The event will give parents and community members an opportunity to discuss key topics surrounding local schools, including a shared vision for education, understanding differences between schools, and ways the community can work together to better support students.
At the same time, families can enjoy a variety of activities, including an Easter egg hunt, games, and free food. Childcare will be provided for children from Pre-K through sixth grade, allowing parents to fully participate in the discussion.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own baskets for the egg hunt, and organizers recommend registering in advance. The event location will be shared with those who sign up.
